Essay Hints

It's important to not waste a good movie and reflect after wards for us; it's mandatory. Here are some hints on how to do it.

Your feelings

Before you tell me about the movie, tell me exactly what you felt.

What moment or event impacted you how and why maybe it reminded you something

Characters

Movie is nothing without its characters; there must be at least two that stick out.

Tell me about them: what you liked about them, what you hated or what you ignored.

Locations, Spaces, Set

A good movie must give you good impressions of the setup and location and set.

Describe locations and sets in movies how you liked them, how they played a role in the story, or how they didn't.

Cinematography

The best movies transcend story, character, and sets and become something way bigger in our minds.

Most of the time, this is achieved with a good story, characters, sets, and then with cinematography. It's harder to notice, but it might need a bit more experience to digest. However, you always need to keep an eye for it.
